In other news the old Phist-Productions server was officially shut down this evening, we may have a funeral here it has been running strong since 2004 with only minor hiccups here and there. But we are very excited about the new server and we believe it will serve you well.

Over the next month we will try and get all the broken links re-linked and working BUT if there is something you need right away please drop us a line and we'll see if we can help.

Big announcement this month, Sonic Brew aka “Switchback” has released their long awaited album “Masters Of Destruction”. The album is slated to be released on iTunes soon possibly by December 7^th, just waiting for some legal loose ends to get tightened up. As soon as it's available we will post a link here. Why the name change? Head to www.sonicbrewonline.com to find out the story. www.switchbackattack.com will continue to work for as long as possible and will be linked to Sonic Brew's site now. An archived version of the old Switchback site can be found at switchback.phist-productions.com though some links might be broken for a while during the server switch over.

December 7^th will also be the date that the physical CD will hit our store shelves as well, so get your ears ready to hear the best SB album to date!

In other news Sonic Brew's Steve Phillips has signed with EVH guitars! We're very excited about this and hope to have more news of the union to post soon.

In recording news over the past 6 months Phist-Recording was busy cranking out the tracks. Not only recording the latest SB project but cranked out projects for Yeager Miester sponsored “Denots”, “Sphinx”, “Saracceno” and “Odyssey”. In fact we're so busy now that we are currently not accepting any new artist until the projects currently on the books have all been completed. In server news we have officialy switched over now to GoDaddy for our hosting backbone. Since the announcement of the new Sonic Brew CD we have been getting hammered on bandwidth and not to mention system crashes. So now we've got the horse power so bring it on!  Also be looking to new store and audio preview pages, it will now be possible to listen to most albums song for song now using flash streaming technology, again December 7^th should start the mark for the new content to be up and running though not all albums will be available as of yet but will be added over the next 30 days.

Whew!  The big move is finally over, Phist-Productions has now switched over to its own full-time server and with the change we’re now able to run PHIST-RADIO full time!  Over the next few weeks users should notice an increase in speed and will have access to more song samples and other downloads available in the online STORE section. Also with the increased band-width we’ve stepped up the audio quality on the radio stream as well!

In other news…

Starting this Saturday Phist-Radio will start airing “CD-Extreme” where the entire day is dedicated to airing one Phist-Record bands CD from first song to last song all day long! This Saturday we’ll be playing “Dissonance – Apocalyptic Poetry”, this boot-leg release is a hard driven and melodic ride through the metal hell ride that is “Dissonance” so tune in, hang on and enjoy the ride!

On Sunday (4.22.2007) Switchback’s “In the name of man” was featured on KLZX’s “The Great Un-Signed”.  We’re trying to get a copy of the show to be available for download but we’re still waiting for a response from the KLZX DJ, as soon as we find out more we’ll post it as soon as it’s available.

Update: 4.30.2007 – We were contacted by MJ from KLZX and were informed that the show was not recorded but they are planning on recording shows in the future. Switchback was also invited to do a live show! We are working on the date for the show and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s scheduled.
